Editorial policy
Rising Home Collective aims to make clear, useful editorial material about domestic spaces and life at home. We explain our reasoning, distinguish general ideas from specific claims and correct errors when we find them.
Accuracy and clarity
We review articles for clear wording, internal consistency and claims that can be responsibly presented. When a subject depends on specialist knowledge, local requirements or circumstances beyond the article's scope, we avoid turning general discussion into instructions that could mislead readers.
Independence
Editorial decisions are made for relevance to readers and fit with the publication's subject. A commercial relationship does not guarantee coverage or a favourable view, and editorial material is not written to disguise a sales message.
Corrections
If you spot a factual error, unclear passage or broken detail, use the Contact page and identify the article and the issue. We assess correction requests and update material when a correction is warranted, making significant changes clear to readers where appropriate.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid placements and partner contributions are clearly identified as such and kept distinct from independent editorial coverage. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; where relevant, that use is disclosed so readers can distinguish illustrative imagery from a documentary photograph.
A home should fit the life inside it
Rooms are not showpieces to get right once and for all. We pay attention to how they are used, what matters to the people in them and which changes are worth making.
